Title: Are the dual reclining sofa beds comfortable?
Post by: CalCruiser on July 28, 2020, 04:56:11 pm
How do they rate for sleeping? Excellent, good, or occasional guest use only?

Can they partially recline without having  to extend the foot rests? In the video Earl extends both foot rests first, then configures both sides into a  bed, but doesn’t demonstrate getting in and out of the  recliners in sofa mode with the foot rests deployed.

TIA

Those Dual chairs look awesome. Some of the first upgrades I like to do with my rig I just bought. Interested in what people have to say about them. I was also curious has anyone replaced the old style with this? And how much did it cost?

This post is assuming the sofa in question is the same as in our 2013 2552. Pics of new rigs on the Phoenix site look like the same couch.

I find the sofa comfortable to sleep on and have done so for almost seven weeks straight. John has spent months on it recently while our granddaughter was on board and was very happy with it. We use it with one side pulled out.

You can partially recline without deploying the footrest. You can also pull out the footrest but not lock it in the out position then push it back against the partially reclined seat. This gives you a footrest without blocking the walkway.
