Title: Clearance lights on 2009 2551
Post by: william wall on June 30, 2020, 10:45:41 pm
I am not sure which fuse or how the wiring works on the clearance/running lights on my 2551.  None of them are working and I’m befuddled!
Help

The clearance lights should turn on with the front amber parking lights and tail lights.  Are either of them also affected?

If everything else works, call the factory and ask them where the clearance lights tie into the parking lights on a 2009 model year.  I bet a line worker knows the answer.  They would ask him and then get back to you.

Something inside me says to remove the driver side kick panel by the parking brake, and look for an in-line fuse.  I know there is at least one PC-added in-line fuse there on my rig.  Maybe one of them supports the clearance lights.

Have you checked the bulbs in the marker lights?  Also check the ground wire since they are mounted on fiberglass.
