Title: Fun from SCT
Post by: 2 Lucky on April 17, 2020, 10:38:12 am
Here's a link to some fun stuff from STC Performance...The car museum links are great, and the movie suggestions bring back many memories for the gear-head in us.

I did the STC X4 performance enhancer just before our last trip this Spring.  I was completely happy with the results...smooth shifting especially a real treat.  Faster acceleration, more power, and all around performance made the trip seem shorter and more relaxed.  No change noticed in MPG tho, likely because I drove harder and faster.

The previous owner of our 2910D left the SCT programer in our rig.   We know the transmission software was updated based on our performance.

Question:  How often do you have to update or re-run the SCT programmer?

Our rig also came with the Banks system installed.   Based on our performance we have seen an improved power and better gas milage.   We believe between the design of the PC, the use of the SCT programer, and the Banks system we have maximized and have the most efficient engine and transmission.  We also have noticed an appreciable smooth changing when the transmission shifts.  Driving 60 mph without towing, ideal road conditions (especially when driving on flat interstate/hwy) we get between 13-14 mph.  When we tow (honda fit) we get 11 mph on those ideal conditions.
