Title: 3" hose in spare tire
Post by: TzrNPeg on March 21, 2020, 07:41:43 pm
For those of you that store a 3" sewer hose in the spare tire - How do you keep it from falling out when you remove the tire cover?  Anyone have a picture of how to fit a 15' sewer hose in there?  Maybe you have no end caps attached?  (Not the big L-shaped one, just the small rings.)  Anyway, I want to use that space for the spare hose but I'm not very successful getting even a small hose to fit.

Hi Peg,

If you plan to use the 3" hose on a semi-regular basis, a more convenient location would be something like what I did as DOCUMENTED HERE (https://forum.phoenixusarv.com/index.php?topic=3332.0).  As of yet, I have never used the 3" hose, but it's ready in-case the macerator system fails during a trip.

Thanks Ron.  I've seen your pictures and I like what you've done.  I don't use the hose regularly at all.  Right now I'm looking for ideas that don't involve asking my husband to do something else on an RV that he rarely uses.  ("All I do is fix things!")   LOL.
