Title: High Milers?
Post by: dogyard on March 13, 2020, 12:02:57 am
Any other "high milers" out there? (not "mile highers" that's a topic for a different club 😉).  With the snow mostly melted here on the MN tundra I was able to break out the PC and finally rolled past 100k , sadly those aren't all my miles as I'm the 2nd owner of this "young at heart 2014 model,  but still proud to be a part of this milestone.  Made me wonder how many others have piloted their PC into six-figures?  Fun fact - you lose the 1/10th mile display once that placeholder is needed for all 6 digits of FULL miles traveled!

Congrats, we’re only in the mid 50k.

It's nice to see a PC owner interested in putting on some high miles. There doesn't seem to be a lot of interest on that topic on this forum. Put on another 100 or 200 thousand miles and keep us posted.

I wish!

I have seen 15 passenger vans with the V10 and 200K on them.

I run the coach to work once a month to keep it exercised.  60 miles, 720 a year. Seriously thinking of doing it biweekly.

Sched festy in april, 700 miles round trip.

Sched festy on may, 450 round trip.

I bet I dont get 3000 miles a year on her as i use it now.  Came with ~40K, think it has ~45K on it now two years later.

Enough whining from the blue collar world...right?   roflol  Home early,  low 80's and sunny... time for outside chores. And a beer... :)(:

I did around 10,000 miles last year, so far this year I’ve only done around 4500. I’m guessing all in I’ll be at around 10,000 miles this year as well. I really don’t care how many miles I get on it. When it starts frequent thousand dollar repairs I’ll either be done with Rv travel by then or go buy a different make.

I have seen a few people who bought previous rental units and now have over 150,000 mikes on the clock.  One never knows, sometimes they go belly up within a 100k while the next might go 200k plus.

If the RV part and chassis is still good, no reason you can't go to 250,000 or more.   A completely new power train isn't as much as a new RV!

We bought our PC with 120000 miles on it. We have put several hundred on it and planning on a lot more as soon as possible!
