Title: Fuse for fridge?
Post by: TzrNPeg on November 28, 2019, 06:21:25 pm
I have a 3 way fridge in my 2552.  I had it on battery while driving.  When I arrived, I plugged in but forgot to switch the fridge for about 1.5 hours.  Trying to switch it now but the display doesn't work and the light inside doesn't come on.  Help!  Where is the fuse?

Peg,
Mine is a 2018 2552 with a two way fridge.  We've had a couple of issues switching from propane to shore power.  I shut the entire fridge off for a couple minutes and it reset itself.  I also have found that the ground fault outlets are hooked up to a heck of a lot more than seems normal.  ie the outside outlet is rigged up to the GFI in the bathroom.
Worth a try, hope I helped!

OK, problem is solved but we don't know how or why.  LOL.  A friend here at the campground came over with a voltmeter and measured every fuse.  They all checked out fine, even those that I wasn't aware of in the outside portion of the fridge.  He put everything back together - and it worked!  Something must have wiggled loose during the drive, although I wish I knew which one!  The entire fridge was getting now power - no light inside, controls on the door were out, everything.  Anyway, all is working now.
