Title: Earliest Winterizing Ever
Post by: Doneworking on November 02, 2019, 09:07:45 am
After having had an RV of some description for about 35 years, this week was a first.

We set two new "cold" records for Oklahoma City this week.   Normally, I don't winterize until about Thanksgiving and have been able to wait until the first of December to do the task a few times.   Not this year.   Now, the deed is done, the PC is back in the storage garage and we await March for reversing the process.   Or will it be April in 2020???    This old dog doesn't like these new tricks of Mother Nature.

Ditto down in McAlester, Paul.  120 miles southeast of you.  Winterized last week?!?

I 'm sorry... Can't resist...

I thought the Earth was getting warmer?

Climate change - not global warming. I try to remember the first one as we travel and get weird weather that the locals are stunned by: "it never (fill in snows, freezes, tops 90, etc.) this time of year." Yet over and over we get that weather extreme.

We're full time so we always have our extreme weather gear with us and we can partially winterize for short freezes.... Then put her in gear and aim for WARM!
