We'll be stopping by the Elkhart, IN home base in September. Wondering if there are recommendations for staying close by. Thanks for any tips! We will be at the reunion in Charleston too...our first!

2 Frazzled just posted a review of all of them in the area under, "Adventure Anywhere". We have stayed at the KOA once although I don't remember much about it. We usually stay at the Elkhart campground. It's o.k. for an overnight while we wait to get in to the factory.

Welcome to the forum and hope to meet you at the Charleston Rally. And campgrounds, Shipshewana Campground North Park is said to be nice. A bit farther than the city CG.

We have stayed at the Elkhart Campground twice. Staff was nice. It's a huge campground designed for maximum usage of space. Facilities were clean.

We've always stayed at the Elkhart Campground. The owners have been friendly, flexible, and accommodating to our needs. You'll also see a sign for a company, Unusual Detailing, that will wash and wax your unit while you're staying there. They've done a great job on our 2552 three times when we've stayed in the campground.
