Heading to Hocking Hills SP in a couple of weeks and one concession made on the trip planning was a stop at the Wild Turkey Distillery outside of Lexington, KY. Is this worth the side trip or not? Doesn't seem to be too far out of the way. Be coming from Carter Caves SP to Hocking Hills SP.
Anyone tour this facility before, and was it worth it?
Thanks

I know nothing about the tour but want to toss in a warning. I know several people (myself included) that are seriously allergic to Wild Turkey. If you've consumed it before without issue, enjoy the samples and maybe a bottle for the road (kept sealed until OFF the road.) If you've never had it... the allergic reaction is a rapid and intense purge, NOT something you want on a road trip (though you own a Phoenix with your own toilet so it would be far better than hugging the bowl in some grungy public bathroom.)
Enjoy your trip!!

Thanks for the heads up. Neither the DW nor myself are much of bourbon drinkers, but sometimes you just gotta try things.
Agree on the Jack Daniels when we do imbibe.

That's Phoenix Cruiser Travel Club Logo Designer (the factory/Phoenix USA is separate and does their own thing). Our gorgeous new logo will be unveiled in the June club newsletter.
Thank you Gary!

The Bourbon trail includes several distilleries. I think "Buffalo Trace" is awesome!
