Just putting this out there. My favorite PC is a custom 2910, one slide with twin beds in the rear. There are 2 euro chairs with pull out table across from the front slide. It is similiar to the 2910D. But the queen bed is replaced with two twins and no rear slide out. It was about 29 foot long. The only downfall is you lose the waredrobe closet.
Here is a picture of the twin beds. The measurements for the rear beds are longer than normal.
Drivers side: 35" X 78"
Passenger side : 33" X 78"

If anyone has one and is considering selling it or downsizing to a 2551 email me at sarz272000@yahoo.com. We love our 2551 but would consider an upgrade to bring along the grandkids. Another custom 2910 PC owner had replaced the euro chairs with Flexsteel captains chairs and seat belts. The grandkids could travel with us in those chairs.

It never hurts to ask if Phoenix will build one up for you. I am sure they have the plans. You would have a better chance if Kermit was still chief, but just maybe the new guys will see this as an opportunity. Extend the original plan the extra foot to current length and offer twin and walk-around rear queen bed options. A walk-around rear queen bed without the need for a slide out used to be very popular, desirable and also done to address the weight limitation of the times. There was much less weight hanging behind the rear axle, eliminating even today's concern of over-loading the rear tires. Phoenix is desperate over this matter as reflected in them deleting the spare tire.

That is a great idea. I just may call to see what they say. Although with the price increase it may be out of my comfort level.
