Can an owner of a 2017 Ford E450 tell me how they have reset the oil change monitor? I have followed the manual's instructions but can not seem to actuate the monitor to reset it.

I have a 2019 3100 on a 2018 E450 chassis. I don't recall seeing an oil change monitor. I figure that it will take a while to reach the recommended mileage for an oil change and will go with that...the recommended mileage escapes me for now.

Google it ( last summer guy at campground walking around asking anyone with E450 same question ) someone told him how ( no I don’t remember) and when asked how he found out he said “ I googled it “

I have googled it, however I could not find a 2017 e450. I have also tried several other Year models with no success. I am really baffled why the Ford owner's manual instruction doesn't work.

Not sure if this link will help, but here it is. I swear I dont recall such on mine. Next time at the storage room, I will check it.

Well you created an itch for me to go check our 2017 E450 as I have never seen anything pop up on ours but it only has 7900 miles on it and one oil change at 3800. Getting ready to do another before this March trip. Since it is only used 6 months or less a year the oil change criteria is met. Went through the menu as described but there is no oil life monitor. My manual also lists another way of resetting a monitor (if equipped) by holding down the accelerator pedal and brake at the same time with the ignition on. About 30 seconds. I think unless a chassis is special ordered for a build you get the most basic cab chassis offered. Learned how to set the auto door lock-unlock feature anyway.

CLICK HERE (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amXvdWR8o68) to watch a youtube video to reset your oil change monitor. It is extremely simple, as easy as resetting your trip odometer. The person on the video said he was working on a 2012 E350. As these things often are, I would imagine it works on every E150 thru E450 with the current-day dash board introduced in the 2009 model year.

GHS and Ron,
Thank you for the reply. I have tried all the options and watched several video instructions on Youtube. For whatever the reason, still no success. I'm beginning to think my 450 is not fitted with the monitor or if it is, there is a problem with it.
