Here is a picture (I hope) of my new 2552 with an open floor plan. I had them leave out the wall at the foot of the driver's side bed. Since I chose the dinette option, I thought maybe I could use the bed as a sofa. If not, at least I can lie in bed and watch TV or read. I'm also hoping it will make it easier to heat/cool. It certainly makes it look a lot larger inside.

Hi Peg--- What an idea! It certainly does change the "looks" inside.
I am constantly amazed at the innovative ideas that PC buyers conceive to adapt their coach to their own wants/needs. We are fortunate to have a company that is willing to work with the buyer to customize these things. Those type alterations would be very difficult or impossible in a "mass-produced" environment.

Is there a curtain door if you want to close off the bedroom? We often close ours and use a small space heater in the bedroom when it is cold but not freezing. It also offers privacy when one is up and about and the other is changing or sleeping.
I'm sure you could rig a curtain using magnets or a spring rod if needed.
Your plan really opens it up nicely!

Is there a curtain door if you want to close off the bedroom? We often close ours and use a small space heater in the bedroom when it is cold but not freezing. It also offers privacy when one is up and about and the other is changing or sleeping.
I'm sure you could rig a curtain using magnets or a spring rod if needed.

I usually travel alone (but with my dogs) so no need to close off the bedroom for privacy. But if needed, I figured I could rig up a shower curtain. As far as heat - I carry one of those oil filled radiators in the winter and it rarely gets THAT cold in Florida. LOL.

I was going to mention the benefits of the wall with curtain....we use the curtain often for privacy and heat. But I see it has been well covered, and Peg's camping with her dogs would rarely call for closed-in space heating. I also like her idea about the day bed approach, having a place to kick back and watch the front TV. I like your idea for your travel style.
