We picked up our new 3100 July 30th and are appreciative of all the tips listed on this forum. What we would like to put on the cab side windows are door visors so we can lower the window a inch or so when it is raining. I can't seem to find these on any website for this model. Does anyone have these on their units? Also, does anyone have the Magna Shade sunshades for their Cruiser? If so, what are the pros and cons you have experienced. Thanks

We love the Magne Shades. I especially like that we can see out but you can't see in. They do keep the heat out pretty well too. We just roll them up on a pool noodle for storage. I suppose if there is a con, they ain't cheap.

The Ford door window rain guards are available, just not sure where anymore.
I considered them for our PC years ago but was concerned they would block our views of scenery.

You might want to give Weather Tech a try because they carry them for models 2014 and before. I don't think the cab windows have changed since then. We found that to be true when we ordered a set of their floor mats for our 2018. We called them about the floor mats and they said that if it wasn't listed, they could not ensure us that they would fit. However, based on responses from others on the forum, we went ahead and ordered them and they fit great.

Magne-Shades: we love ours. They are easy on and off. We ordered direct from the Magne-Shade company and bought their storage bag so they go in the bag then in a bin. Con- we had small scratches on the driver door where the magnets touch. It was right after we camped in iron country. I suspect John dropped that shade and some of those little rocks stuck in it so when he adjusted the shade, he scratched the rig. Doug buffed them out for us and we've checked nothing is stuck in the shades. (I'm not picking on John, I dropped a magnet for our tow lights and was surprised to see how much grit was magnetically attached).
We have Weather Tech floor mats and front rain guards on our Subaru and they are great. It was a struggle getting the rain guards on but the front guards did fit. The con on those is the automatic window sometimes senses them in the track and won't close. It can take three or four frustrating tries. The rear guards did not fit and are in our storage. Maybe someday I'll whittle them down and get them on there.
We bought the two floor mats for the E450 hoping there wasn't enough change over the years. The driver side mat is fine but the passenger one moves, probably because it is such a weird shape. We didn't buy the one piece mat because we thought it might trip us. These mats trap a lot of dirt and we just dump it out the door. Very nice to have.
We don't have rain guards for the rig so we don't know if they'd fit. If we had them on, the magne-shades wouldn't fit.

Thanks for the info. I think we might order a set of the floor mats also. Since you also have a 2018 was the a stock number or reference number for the set of mats?

The part number for the floor mats is W51.

I have found the brand of visor from AUTO VENTSHADE has visors for just about any vehicle.. Just enter the make and model of your vehicle. I have them on all my vehicles including our 2014 PC model 2100 and love them.
