Title: Awning Motor noise

Awning Motor making loud noise, particularly on retraction.  2017, 2351, awning lightly used.  Any others had issues?  Thanks.

No noises from our awning. Can you describe the sound and when in the awning's travel you can hear it?

Yesterday I catalogued all the components described in the paperwork located in the "gray bag" PC gave me when we picked our unit.  I noticed the Dometic awning warranty is only one year - everything else, pretty much
2 years.  Hmmm, wonder why?

Shoot, ! remembered seeing this topic listed and looked it up just now hoping there was an answer.  My 2107 3100 just started making ugly noises the last couple of days.  Since I travel alone(well there are the animals) there isn't a good way to be in running the the motor and out where I can see if it acts any differently. Shame it didn't do this before my trip to Elkhart.
