Title: Jack
Post by: rvrunner on March 11, 2018, 04:44:50 pm
I ordered the spare tire with my 2400, will it come with a jack?

Yes, a bottle jack rated for 6 tons, and also a lug wrench.
At least that’s what came with the 2552 I took possession of last Feb. 20. That’s one feature I haven’t tested yet, thankfully.

Hi Lynn,

To put any concern to rest, the PC supplied 6-ton jack works well.  My PC-supplied 6 ton jack works great with my 2350 which is about the same weight and size as your 2400.  I used the jack twice lifting the right rear corner axle for getting my Lynx leveling block wheel chock out of a jamb.  Somehow if conditions are just right when rolling off the Lynx blocks, the Lynx wheel chock flips up and gets stuck in between the blocks and tail pipe.  I really should make it a habit to move the rig just enough for Irene to get that chock out of there....then roll off the Lynx blocks.

:beg  I have no idea if there is still a jack on board mine. Where are they stowed from the factory?

I have a spare, but no jack, lug wrench, etc I am aware of. I was (foolishly?) thinking that my RV AAA service would handle it.

The jack was delivered in the rear storage compartment on the right side, in its original box.
