Does anyone know the standard brand and model number of the surge protector being installed at the factory?

We ordered our 2018 2552 with a 50 amp service and Surge Protector. It is Progressive Industries ems-hw50c

If you get the standard 30 amp service I assume they will use the ems-hw30c

PC typically mount the remote readout on the wing-wall just above the tank level meter

I requested a Progressive Industries EMS be installed rather than a surge suppressor.  I forget what brand they were installing at the time but I was told later they were changing over to Progressive Industries.  Doesn't mean they still do though.  Only the factory is going to be able to tell you what they are installing today.

And spend the extra and get the EMS not just a suppressor.  A surge suppressor stops power spikes.  It does not do anything for low voltage which for RV's is often a bigger concern then spikes.  My EMS has cut the power off when the supply was not good enough several times.

I see renotse posted while I was typing.  He has the same unit I do.  Highly recommended.
