Title: Trash Can Table
Post by: Wilson on October 13, 2017, 11:29:53 pm
Here is a little trick we use when we don't want to get out our big table.  As you can see we just remove the cover from the sink and put on top of our 13-gallon trash can.  Works great as the sink cover is pretty heavy and which make this surprisingly steady for holding cups or glasses.

Our sink cover has been cut in half. My wife likes it that way as she leaves half on for more counter space and stll can use the sink, some what. Other wise your idea looks interesting.

You might want to update your profile by clicking on your name. It seems to have gotten messed up some how.

Hi Tom,

Since you mentioned your 2-piece sink cover......

After our first trip, our full-size (uncut) Corian sink cover stays home.  We never found value in using it.  I later made a reversible cutting board from cutting board plastic to fit over the sink as shown.  Irene loves it.  Not just for cutting, but like your two piece Corian, it offers more work area while being able to run the water.
