My wife likes her TV. For a happier camping experience, I told her if she buys I will install. It was a pretty straight forward project. While I was at it I replaced the coax on the antenna and the roof penetration for it - which was going to leak sooner or later.
The dish mount is a quick connect. So if we are under a tree, and HAVE to see something, the dish can be easily removed and relocated with a separate 50-foot length of siamese cable.

To all with the old crank-up antenna....
In your picture here, the rubber boot for the wire at the bottom of the picture can work itself loose. Check annually to make sure it is mounted properly, or caulk it in place so it will never work itself loose.
I have the same antenna and that same ugly mess on my otherwise beautiful B+ cap. :'(
