Title: Upgrades for conserving water
Post by: Wilson on October 08, 2017, 10:22:12 pm
We do long trips and always seem to run short of fresh water so I added a couple of improvements I made to our Cruiser that have really helped.  One was new faucet heads for kitchen and bathroom rated at .5 gallons per minute.  Also new shower head that seems to mix air into the water stream.    I would guess we are using 30% less water.  All the upgrades are so good that we have plenty of water flow while pump runs intermediately when we turn on the water before the pump run full time when using water.  Here are links to what I bought which were both from Amazon and very easy to install.  Well worth the effort.  Any other questions please let me know.

Thanks for the tip. I have been using the Oxygenics shower head too and just  now ordered those  Niagara 0.5 gpm faucet aerators . Even if you don't boondock often  it's  much easier to come and go without always  hooking up the sewer hose if  you don't have a towed to "adventure anywhere". DW also likes the increased shower pressure .
