Title: New members
Post by: TallPine on September 22, 2017, 01:40:28 pm
Hello
My wife and I have been long time campers, 30+ years.  Starting in a station wagon, pop up, travel trailer, 2 fifth wheels, a class C and now a new PC 2552.  We wanted to downsize from the 32' class c to something more agile for when we retire.  Have been researching different units for a year and half, watching this forum (thanks to all on the forum, invaluable information tymote) and was at the Hershey a week ago and placed an order for the 2552.  Delivery will be next March, our choosing, no camping during the winter months, at least for now.

Look forward to meeting some of the members at the rallies and happy to be a member of the PC family.

Larry and Sedonia

Congratulations and welcome!  As long-time campers who have had a variety of rigs, it will be nice to have your expertise included in this forum.  It's a good bunch of people here.   (cheer)

Congratulations!  Now the hard part begins, waiting for delivery.

Make sure you sign up for the Phoenix Cruiser Travel Club so you get notices of the rallies and the newsletter.

We just finished up the 2017 rally at Sisters Oregon.

Thanks jatrax, March seems so far away.  We will sign up for the Phoenix Cruiser Travel Club.  We were on our way home from the shore last weekend and passed a PC heading to the shore.

Hi Nancy and Jake, we remeber and thanks for sharing your experiences with us.  It was great talking with you at the show and hope our paths cross again.  Will try and remember to post pics, March is so far away!!! >:(

Larry & Sedonia, welcome to the forum!  We will try to keep you company here on your wait for March to arrive.  We had planned to climb into "Fawkes" and skip the Chicagoland winter by going to Arizona.  However, Suzanne has knee replacement surgery that reared its ugly head so we are stuck here with other real life snags until March or April.  We'll leave the light on for you.   :)(:

Congrats on the new PC 2552.  We have had ours a year and love it.  In the last 12 months, we have not missed any opportunities to throw the cats in the Phoenix Cruiser and head out for trips from 5 to 15 days.  We both it with 81k miles and now it has 92k. The biggest challenge is backing it up the curving driveway.  Hope you have as much fun in your PC. March will be here before you know it.
