I heard the factory has made a few over-head sleepers upon special request. The TV is hung elsewhere. If anyone has that option, could you post your pictures here? I am very curious. That would make for an ideal arrangement for a child or young adult, maybe even your pet.

Sounds a lot like the mini-bed we had on our previous unit, a Great West Classic supreme. Full size bed, but onyl 18" of headroom... Good only for kids who didn't try to sit up in the middle of night.
BUT... made for a great storage area. We could put a ton of stuff up there.

I contacted him by email and it was like he never heard of it ...then finally after several tries said it' s a factory modification.I won't bother him again.

Don told me he had a special order request once for a single cab-over bed, and he worked it out with the factory. I guess that is what he meant by "It's a factory modification".
Maybe he thought you were asking him to modify a unit you already had. I can't imagine doing a conversion after the fact. The cab's roof is cut out during construction for easy pass through. Reconstructing an existing PC for a cab-over bed would require a lot of messing around, but easy to accomodate during the birth of the RV.

I think you're right, Ron. From my understanding, it would have to be ordered and then done at the factory during construction.

Hey, I finally found a PC with the bed in the B+ cap, a very rare find.
It's a 2002 2350 but called a 23RB. So I finally got to see one. Some people may prefer this over-head for bulk storage or sleeping quarters for a child or pet(s).
I understand the factory can still do this upon request. I would request it to be 100% fabric up there, no wood and place a thin memory foam mattress to gain as much vertical space as possible.

I like that....... :-D :-D

... my dog would kill herself up there ...

It could be used as a dog kennel for the right size dog (s), lifting your dog up there. A cat might get there on their own. I always read about people wanting "Pet Space". That would be their own, happy to see around being up high and you happy to have some walking room. Cat or dog (pending size), there should still be some decent space for bulk storage.
I know there are women out there who travel the country quilting and such. They love the over-head bed area of most motor homes for their light weight bulk.
I am trying to get the dimensions from the seller to see how big a child it can accommodate.

Ron,
This is from the Seller comments: Standing facing" the bed up top": It measures 16 1/2" max, 13" middle and 6" at the curved wall. Also standing facing "the bed up top it": It measures 78" long in the front and 68" at the curved wall. These measurements were taken with the cushions in. Maybe room for a smaller child, probably not an adult.
Hope this helps

Thanks Jim.
I got the same reply when asking the seller directly. I think the seller does not have the rig near him. I wanted to know dimensions without the mattress. And he leaves out the depth.
