Title: Deception Pass SP Washington

Never camped in an old growth forest among huge conifers hundreds of years old before.  Just wonderful, that is till the planes start flying.  The campground is right beneath a military practice area where they fly low and lower including occasional sonic booms.  Hang on, 11pm here now and I don't hear anything.  At last, its quiet.
Spoke too soon, they're back.

Go over to Moran State Park on the island. Same thing only better.   Washington Park in Anecortes is also really special.
