The Sony backup system on our 2012 2400 Sprinter went blue screen with intrrmittent recovery. We checked all cables coming out of the camera and into the monitor and seems tight. A y ideas? (WH). :)(:

We had a similar problem with our backup camera. The fix was to replace the camera with a new one.

Hi! When you replaced the camera, does that mean ONLY the camera was replaced, not the display, or did you replace both?
Thanks!

Thanks... I thought that was going to be the answer, but hoped for a lesser fix. Oh well! :)(:

The back up camera themselves appear to be inexpensive. I wonder if they are mostly plug and play or if every brand has a proprietary plug?

Our camera was a CST [Convoy Technologies] Riverpark Color Rear View Camera (Model C1000). If yours is the same then a good place to start might be Riverpark or Convoy themselves (www.riverparkinc.com www.convoytechnologies.com). Also very helpful folks at www.tadibrothers.com

Call Carol at the factory she will need to look up your camera's model number. Each model has a different plug. Before calling her, if you haven't already, pull the cable behind the camera that goes into the outside wall, out until you can see a plug. Check to make sure that plug is tight.

Had similar problem with previous 2010 2350. Problem was loose connection inside back wall. Cable from camera goes inside wall at top and connects to cable going to front. Unscrew light next to cable and pull cable up tp check connection. I pushed the connections together and taped them. Corrected the problem for me
