Title: Refrigerator Fan
Post by: JoeyD on April 05, 2017, 09:19:22 pm
Hi Everyone,
I'm a bit puzzled... I brought my Cruiser out of storage to prep it for a 3 day short trip. When I plugged it into my shore line the refrigerator fan started to run even though the frig is off. I have never seen this before. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advanced

Joe

Joey D   On my boat there is a fan mounted on the back of the Norcold.  It is powered by by the 12 volt DC system.
There is a sensor that turns the fan on when air temps reach a certain point...like 125 degrees I think.  The fan works
separately from the rest of the system I am told.  So it may be a sensor....or if a hot day in FL  maybe it got up high in a confined
space?
