Well we did it. Called Earl the other day and said "Do it!" We ordered a 2100 PC. (cheer) Can't believe it, but we did. So I figure the onus is on you all to help us navigate our way through the PC ownership. The Do's and Don't. The "I did this" and the I avoided that". The coulda's, shoulda's and woulda's.
Been camping since the age of 6 months and a couple of days ago turned 70. Camped with tarps & ropes, tents, pop-ups & most recently a B. But the RV thing is entirely new to me. Batteries, gray water tanks, inverters, generators, etc are all new to me, and a bit frightening so bear with me when I ask a ton of stupid questions.
Thanks

You sound like me 9 years and 7 months ago. :)

Gary,
I am glad to hear you made the decision to place your order. Hal and I followed the same path of camping and have the 2100. Read the manuals and familiarize yourselves with all the components. You won't remember everything but you can refer to the book anytime or post your questions here. The first few trips we took, I would stand outside with the book reading step1, step2, etc. when we used the macerator. We would be happy to help with your questions. There was a first time for all of us.

Congrats! A lot to learn but there is an incredible amount of information online, both here and on other forums.

Welcome to the wonderful world of PC. We just yesterday put a deposit on a pre-loved 2012 PC2400 Sprinter and will go pick it up next week. We are experienced RVers, having owned a 30 ft Airstream trailer; a 40 ft. Foretravel diesel pusher ans a 17 ft. Casita trailer; but each type, make and model of RV needs familiarization. We are using the post that Kyle from Phoenix put in the Tips and Tricks thread on this forum. . .a bunch of You Tube how-to's. 2o2 Can't wait to get started! :)(:

The 2100.... You'll love it! We think it is the perfect 2 people motor home. Our 2100 doesn't have a slide and there is plenty of room for two with all of the amenities of home. Enjoy....!

The one thing that has appeared lately is the use of the inverter If you have done the class A thing as we have and our friends too, then you left it on and did not blink. It was a charger Inverter. The P C unit is no such animal. It will drain your house batteries to dead if not used with care and only when really needed. Those directions need read carefully. Patricia
