On the PC with euro chairs, like the 2910D, do the chairs have safety belts?
Does the recline sofa have safety belts? If yes, how many?

Hi Sarz272000,
The Euro chair in every PC model has a clamp to the floor that is used only to secure itself, but not strong enough to secure a person. Therefore it does not have a seat belt. The chair is designed to be used once the vehicle is at rest. The clamp allows it to be easily moved around. If you must have a seat belt there, then you need to request a different seat there which is bolted to the floor. Most popular is a seat identical to the two front ones like we have here. In the case with the 2910D, it is an x2 situation because that model is shown with two Euro chairs.

With regards to the couch, there are seat belts for two. If you get the dinette, it comes with two seat belts per bench. Our PC 2350 has seat belts for seven people. A 2910D as Phoenix shows, you could have seat belts for six people if the Euro chairs shown were replaced with bolt-down captain seats.

Even if you buy a bolted down rear chair as we did, directly behind the passenger seat, should be aware that vehicles of these GVWR, max weight, don't have to be tested for sufficient rear seat anchorage in event of a crash as cars and pickups are by their manufacturers for FMVSS 207/210. May be one of the reasons PC doesn't sell in Canada.

I can believe that. My third seat pedestal always had me wonder how well it would hold up in a serious crash.
I suppose the logic is that it will be the least of your problems compared to the cabinets and fridge with all their contents flying at you. Maybe the thinking is to get out of the way by breaking away. If you wonder, I am joking.

Our 2910T seems to have 3 seat belts behind the sofa.. so not much use unless I become some kind of super man and undo the set up and dig out the belts... I did manage to pull the 2 on each side of the dinette out in sight. they were easy enough to get at when the seat was lifted up... One day when I have found pep pills I will see if I can move the sofa and find out how I get the belts up... sometimes I like to confine Miss Dog when someone is working inside and she thinks they are her new friend... she has a special harness that hooks to seat belt. That would be quite a crowd to have 7 buckled in.... Might need a porta potty too.
happy travels
