Title: Recommendations for new mattress ?
Post by: mtownsen on September 26, 2010, 09:31:44 pm
Has anyone replaced the mattress that comes with the Cruiser ? We have a 2007 30' with Island Bed on a slide out, and my wife is finding the supplied mattress a little too hard. Looking for something more comfortable to replace it with, that will still fit under the cabinetry when the slide is in.

HI:

Funny you should mention that. Our bed too seems hard.  We are going to buy a memory foam topper from Sam's club for it. We had one in our old MH and that worked great. You can trace your current bed and cut the new topper to match.

I highly recommend this foam topper, if you're getting a memory foam one.

I don't know if it will work in your configuration, but I do know that we own two of them for our beds at home, and the difference is amazing. I've been using mine for months now, and grabbed one for my mother for her birthday. I'm going to get some for my kids' beds too. Everyone's amazed at how much more comfortable my bed is after.

Hope you find a solution that works for you!
