Well, some information came by Kermit this morning so at least we have an idea what to do next. This has something to do with the slide function ... operates the little motor I think that moves the slide room out and in. How the wires appeared underneath the slide is a big mystery. We have not been near any bear habitats an gators are not usually too far off the ground.
We returned from our adventure about 2 p m and I moved things as Kermit suggested to relocate the wires where they should be and found they would not budge. So I guess I will have to
move the slide somewhat an try this again... what I do know is that one end of this coiled wire the wire braided covering is frayed and it needs to be covered so that exposed wires are
not touching something which may create another problem or fire hazard.
It does not appear to be quite as simple as my messaqe suggested.

;) Well today was the day to see what was behind the coiled wire that appeared where it should not have been. Jim removed things and trimmed the damaged covering from the coiled wire. It took 3 hours to realign and get things back in line. as time goes on we will find out if it is a fix or not. It is put back together and is in the area it is supposed to be. The wires got out of the area where it was supposed to be and was in the area where the auger was moving the slide out or in. Have other photos and will add if I can get them transferred. Now I know more than I need to know.

photo is our busy dinette with the motor and all kinds or wires in the area under the seat.
So the redo by 84 year old Mr Fix it we hope will work. He thinks a lot and works too.
We had several messages from Kermit during the fix. He sent a photo of a neat install on the line too. We thank him very much. Now we will not be delayed in our planned travels out of town.
Update: There was a small wire guide or Holder which had let go early on when the slide was moved out. It was attached to the wire but nothing else...Mr Fix it has determined that to keep the coiled wires coming back "home" where they are supposed to be he wants to put a spring to provide light tension so this drifting into the augers function area cannot happen. He has not found the spring he has designed in his head yet. But he is looking at a. Couple of places today. It should be happening soon.
