I must have nothing better to do now that I am retired. :)
After I removed all the scuff marks inside the rear compartment, I added outdoor fabric designed for water to run through it very quickly. The gray color matches the rest of the interior perfectly. I cut it to 94" x 7". I installed it such that it rides up the side with all the sealant for a nice look. I bought the material at Menards. It is sold on those massive carpet rolls in their carpet department. The material is sold by the foot so I bought just one foot I don't recall the cost but it is real cheap.
I initially laid the carpet in place loosely but have since used 4 small cut rectangles of carpet tape to keep it in place and to help it follow the contours.

Very nice! Ron, it isn't a matter of having nothing else to do, it's a matter of doing what you like and enjoy... and that which doesn't stress you out. For you, these little upgrades and fixes may not seem like a lot but they make you happy. What else can you ask for?
