in our 2004, 2550 model, we decided to take out the 12 year old carpet and replace it wit vinyl flooring. We have run onto a problem with the screws holding the lip of the stairwell. They have large rounded heads which do not allow the bullnose trim strip to lie flat. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Plan to remove and replace them with flat head screws.

Well, my clever husband backed out the rounded screws and counter-sunk some flat head screws in their place. And he has about half the floor done, it looks fabulous! So much nicer than the 12 year old dirty carpet.

Your new flooring looks so nice. We had the hardwood look vinyl previously and wish PC would consider it as an option.
Thanks for posting the picture.

I agree with you, Gail.
We had an Armstrong wood look vinyl sent to Phoenix to be installed in our 2551 and it looked great. When we ordered the 2910, we accepted the standard vinyl flooring due to the added cost of the Armstrong.
When we got to the factory to pick up our 2910, the first PC with the wood flooring was just being finished.
