Title: Sirius Radio failure
Post by: Als3rdhand on July 04, 2016, 01:20:50 pm
:)We have a 2016 PC 3100 unit with the XSG2NA-X2S Infotainment Center unit. From the start, we noticed that when using Sirius radio (no issues with radio, CD, navigation, etc)and after only 10-15 minutes, we'd lose sound from the drivers side door speaker, and after a bit more time, we'd lose sound all together. Refreshing signal with Sirius, does not bring usage back, even after Sirius's recommendation of 15 minutes. The radio company states there likely is an issue with the vehicle tuner. Since we are still under warranty, they sent us a new one without cost. But before I have a dealership rip the dash apart to replace the tuner, I'm wondering if I'm in this alone! Anyone else have this issue, before I have a dealership go digging? Thanks in advance! Al

als3rdhand...No answer as to why you are loosing sound but I would not worry about unit removal,  it is all done from the front so the dash is not touched.
