We lost our precious Sparky (a Jackhuahua—part Jack Russell, part Chihuahua) yesterday evening to liver cancer. He was a joyful little dog that found his way into the hearts of everyone he met. Even at the end he could smile and wag his tail while sitting up in our lap.
One of the main reasons we purchased our PC was to allow him to travel with us. He loved hiking with us wherever we took him and made the trips more enjoyable for us.
It is a tough time right now for us, and we will miss the little furry guy forever.

So so sorry to hear this. I know and feel the pain you are going throuh right now. I hope he has fun playing with all my pass fur babies, and every one elses fur babies that have also crossed over the rainbow bridge.

The loss of one of our babies is difficult, indeed. My thoughts go with you...

As farmers, we know how precious animals can be in our lives. Sorry for your loss.

My heart hurts for you. Our Peanut was my lap rider on our cross country trips. She has been gone for several years but we still do, and always will miss our girl.

Sorry for your loss. I have a service dog and bought our unit to travel with her also.

Bruce and Sharon,
Extending my deepest sympathies for your huge loss. What a blessing that you had little Sparky to share such joy and unconditional love for the years you had with him. May the void in your hearts gradually be filled with comforting, happy memories and the very real sense that his love will ever live on.

Bruce & Sharon,
We have not had a loving pet in many years. But the two we did have, a cat for 18 years, and later a little Parakeet for 6, when the cat past away and the Parakeet flew away, we surely felt the loss. Each of them were such a joy to have in our lives. Strange how a Parakeet could bond so tightly with us.
I am sorry to read of your loss and hope you will find a new furry friend one day soon to fill your hearts with that kind of joy again.

I too pass along my condolences to you. It is a tough thing to go thru and we dog lovers understand the grief that comes with losing the unconditional love that our pets give us daily. Ann and I have lost 3 during the last 20 years but we are blessed with Joey( 9yr. Cataluah hound/ Collie mix ) who had cancer surgery in December, Cody ( 2yr. Pomeranian), and Katie(cat). Although I have not forgotten my previous furry buddies and think of them often, I found after awhile I was able to give and receive love with my new pups. Joey is my best friend! May your hearts find peace today and maybe someday you will decide to try it again, there are a lot of wonderful pets out there who need us as much as we do them.

We appreciate all the good wishes we’ve received here as it does help get through the grief of loss by sharing memories with those who understand. In time we’ll be ready to adopt another furry “kid” as we know how many doggies need a loving forever home. We’ve gone through this before and know the hole in our hearts will eventually mend, although Sparky and his smile will always be part of us.

We were so sorry to read about your loss of Spraky. We are practically neighbors as we live in San Jose. We bought our 2350 in 2009 because we didn't want to travel without our little Havanese, Benny. Benny has liver shunts so is on all kinds of medicines and a special diet. Consequently we don't leave him with anyone. He is a happy traveler and doing well. It is so sad when we lose one of our babies and they mean the world to us.
