Has anybody had a problem with the hose leaking at the connection to the hard plastic end? I just noticed after about the fourth dump since new that it was leaking at this connection. Also found it is just a slip on connection and slides right off. I would recommend installing a clamp on the hose. It would be a real dirty mess to have that come off when you are dumping.

I also saw that it was just a slip connection and put a hose clamp on it. Soon after, I was dumping and noticed that when I turned on the macerator pump the hose started to get longer. I shut the pump off and realized that I had forgot to take the cap off the plastic end piece and the pressure was making the hose grow. Good thing for the clamp or there would have been a mess. Needless to say, I now remember to take the cap off.

I had it slip off the first time I used it. Good thing it was the gray water. I used silcone sealer on it. So far it is holding. Next time I will use the clamp also.

I had the same problem on our last trip. While dumping, the hose came detached from the plastic. I was dumping black at the time. YUCK. Good thing my boy was right next to the pump switch and turned it off and closed the valve. Put a clamp on it right away.

We had the same problem as well. Got to go out and get some clamps. We are on Prince Edward Island, Canada and the closest harware store is about 25 miles away.
