Title: Dinette or Couch Seat Belts
Post by: Carol on June 21, 2015, 10:28:38 pm
I hadn't tried to use the seat belts provided with my dinette until last week.  I found that they are way too short for most normal sized adults.  Fully extended, they would only fit a child or a skinny adult.  Does anyone else have this problem?  I just thought I would check with other PC owners before calling the factory to see what's up with that.  Thanks!

Our 2007 dinette seat belts seem to be a little shorter than a car would typically have, yet we are able to use them.  The factory might be able to send you seat belt extensions.  They would have the buckle on one end and the receiving metal clip on the other.

I've never tried ours however you can get extenders on AMAZON. They range from 6 bucks to about 25 depending on length etc.

We used ours on a trip last week.  Worked fine; length was fine.  Might want to be sure they are not bound somehow behind the sofa limiting the full length.

Did check.  Not bound on anything.  Simply way too short.  Pursuing with factory.
