Title: Wooden plugs for screws
Post by: Barry-Sue on June 15, 2015, 09:42:39 pm
The wooden plugs covering the screw heads around our slide out would occasionally pop off.  I would put them back in with a rubber mallet but certain ones would still pop off.  I did not want to glue them or silicone them in just in case they ever needed to be removed.

Problem solved -  I wrapped the ends in teflon tape (plumbers tape), put them back in and now have a nice tight fit but can still be removed if necessary.  Not one popped off during our latest trip.

I had the same problem but solved it with small bits of tissue before pushing the wooden plugs back in.
