Title: assateaque island

Hi All:

We would like to plan a trip this fall to Assateaque with our boys. Has anyone stayed in the area or have any thoughts? Any information would be helpful.  Thanks. :help

  We have been going to Assateague(Chincoteague) for years. We stay at the Maddox campground which is the closest one to Assateague, but there are app. 3 other campgrounds there. It is nice to be able to drive the motorhome out to the beach and have everything with you for as long as you are there. You have to be off  Assateague by app. 10:00 pm each though.
