Hi all,
We have made it to the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. If any of you have the chance to get up this way, stay at New River Beach Provincial Park in New Brunswick. Great campground with a beach that is unsurpassed; tidal range is 30-40 feet. And the best part is that the $$ are only $22 American with the Senior discount. It was beautiful.

We are planning a trip to the Maritimes. Please post any information you think worthy. I'm sure we'll find benefit from your experiences.
Stay safe and watch out for the crazies.
Thanks.
Bob

AWe are presently at Baddeck Cabot Trail Campground. We have been here for 5 days now and are thoroughly enjoying beautiful Nova Scotia.
We have been to the Alexander Graham Bell Museum (Canada National Historic Landmark), The Fortress of Lousibourg (another historic landmark), the Glenorra Distillery (the only distiller of Single Malt Scotch in North America-good stuff and I don't like scotch) and the Cabot Trail (spectacular scenery).
Then on to Halifax and Lunenburg and then off to PEI next week. Will update then.
Nova Scotia is beautiful!

How's the weather there now?

Sunny and hot.
We are now in Halifax and will be here 'til the beginning of the week.

We were up in Nova Scotia a few years ago and stayed at the Ovens campground overlooking the ocean. Great price and great campround. It was near peggy's Cove, I think in Lunnenberg. If you are near there and need a place to stay I would try that one. Wish I was there, but alas work calls.
