We have our Phoenix at the PA Farm show for the week. We are plugged into electric but overnight the coach batteries went dead? The microwave and 110 outlets all still work but the interior lights, furnace, water pump etc. are all very low. The xantrex invertor was reading E-02.
I started the engine and ran it for a while which helped charge the batteries but now they are slowly loosing their charge again. The xantrex started with a reading 0f 11.8 it's now down to 11.2
We are still plugged in and still have 110 power.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Dave

Sounds like converter is not working or the switch is off at the door.
2015 models have different converters, I think. If batteries charge with motor they must have good connections.
If plugged in you do not need to turn the inverter on.
At 12.1 volts batteries are 50% capacity. At 11.2 volts they are dead.

I'd start by checking the manual for the fault codes. E-02 I do not have my manual here. If the batteries are getting voltage it my be a loose wire. It may be the connection on the battery or the inverter.

Dave,
We have a 2012 with xantrex pro inverter XM1800. The manual says the E - 02 is for under-voltage shutdown. It then says disconnect from the load and recharge the batteries. As was suggested I would check to make sure the switch at the door is in the charging mode. If the light is on it does not indicate that it is in the charge mode. I usually press the switch to the "use" mode and this turns on the charging portion of the circuit. Also check all the 12 volt fuses in the circuit panel.

You might also now have bad batteries being in the cold and drained to dead multiple times. Ask Kermit about also replacing them under warranty.

Most certainly do what Ron suggests. They are gonners after multiple discharges to dead
