Apparently, PC-USA has recently moved the location of the 7-pin connector on all new models. It is now located next to the bottom left side of the license plate (you can see the location in the pictures of the PC's for sale in the 'Inventory' section of the website) From what I understand there have been issues with the old location in some situations where there were drainage 'gulleys', parking lot/gas station entrances that are elevated or depressed, etc.
Has anyone had any issues with the old location next to, but a little lower than, the receiver? I would think it may be more of an issue with the longer 2910 or 3100?

No problems here. :-D

No problem with our 2007 2350/E350. When loaded up on trips, the rear end is slightly lower than a level rig yet we have never had a problem scraping anything. Admittedly I do pay attention to exiting gas stations and such with an angular approach. I considered installing rear air bags to give a little lift, but have been doing fine without.

While on a trip to CA. ran into some deep curbing out of gas stations and bottom out. It bent the holder for the 7 pin plug and broke the housing for the plug, I moved it to the bumper next to the license plate. I also got a coaster for the hitch to keep it from scraping the ground on my 2013 3100

eTrailer has big selection of skid rollers, should probably be standard on MHs with long overhangs.

Yep,
Completely clobbered it last summer.
