Title: Waltz Across Texas
Post by: GoPhoenix on March 08, 2014, 08:44:11 am
Temps finally above freezing yesterday, so went to storage to see of the old PC would start. Started right up after two months. 2o2  Don’t really do much but winterize, cover the wheels, and hit the battery disconnect button. Just making sure she’s ready to go on our next trip April 10: http://adventurecaravans.com/tour/waltz-across-texas-and-the-san-antonio-fiesta/.  It would great to have another PC along.  Great fun, everything prearranged, planned and reserved with free time too.  And a 5% discount right now.  Pic from the Adventure Caravans, Christmas in the Smokies attached.

Gary,
We were on the Winter Oasis In Jan. and had beautiful weather in the South West, 65 to 80 every day with low humidity, Did have a few days with strong winds but other then that a great time. We were with Hex and Sandy on the West Coast trip last fall, Say Hi for us. We saw 2 PC on the West Coast trip and one on the Winter Oasis trip. Hope you have a great trip. On the way home we hit Zero Degree over night and the PC did great. Only used the LP for heat that night. Hope to see you at the Myrtle Beach Reunion in Oct.

Jim & Rae Anne,

We already have plans for this fall, the New York Rally: http://adventurecaravans.com/tour/new-york-cit/.  Really looking forward to that; especially anxious to see the Ground Zero/911 Memorial. And two more scheduled in 2015: Grand Circle: http://adventurecaravans.com/tour/grand-circle-the-great-western-national-parks-tour/ and following that couple of days later, the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta: http://adventurecaravans.com/tour/albuquerque-balloon-fiesta/.  We were with Hex and Sandy for a prior rally – will say hi to them for you.

“Best RV” – Two years ago, we did the Great River Road (http://adventurecaravans.com/tour/great-river-road-fall-colors/).  At one campground, the guy parking all of the RVs in the caravan said, “You’ve got the best RV in the bunch.”  (nod) Couldn’t argue with him there.  And there were big, expensive Class A and 5th Wheel RVs in the group.
