Title: Things We Have Added to Our 2350 - Bathroom Part 1
Post by: Barry-Sue on May 05, 2010, 03:13:56 pm
We have made some additions to our 2008 Phoenix Cruiser 2350 to make travel a little easier and would like to share them with other PC owners. Need to login to see the attached pictures.

Bathroom Counter Extension (Image Bath-1)

Matching corian cut to size and fitted in place.  The step down design allowed for a cleaner look and no need to try and match the sink edge pattern.  The extension provides a place for the tissue both top and bottom.

Additional Storage For Tall/Bulky Items (Images Bath -2 & Bath-3)

Located between the shower and the sink cabinet this area was perfect for tall items like curly irons and bulky hair dryers.  Image Bath-2 shows the top in place and Image Bath-3 shows the top removed for easy access.

Keep Rings Out Of The Trap (Image Bath-4)

A simple sink strainer from Home Depot can save hours of work and that priceless ring

Just One More Hook (Image Bath-5)

Another trip to Home Deport for a matching hook.  Use existing screw in side of medicine cabinet to attach hook.

Hi there.  Just wondering if you got the material for the bathroom counter extension from Phoenix Cruiser or where???  That added little space is priceless and I want it!!  My husband is very handy but we need to get the materials.  Did the factory also make the little extra cabinet in the bathroom for you or was that added later and again, where did you get the material.  You have come up with some really good ideas.  Thank you.

Please give us the info on where you got the Corian. My husband doesn't know it yet but we  are going to duplicate your shelf on our 2350 Sprinter.

We also mounted a satin nickel paper towel holder under the medicine cabinet. Got it at Bed Bath and Beyond. It looks good, matches the knobs and solves the problem of water all over the sink when he shaves and washes his hands.

We tried to send a picture of some of our additions, but had no luck.

Hi Gradygirl,

We have the same unit and are adding things.

Wondering about your unit and your shocks?  gets a bit tippy in rough ground. I'm think of Billsten shocks and a heavy stabilizer bar.  the one on it is a 1 1/8".
We are heading to Alaska next month.   Maybe air bags would be better?  and info would be helpful.

Happy Camping,

Campman

We have not added any additional shocks---have done nothing with the suspension yet. We have found no need but we have not done enough travelling to determine exactly what we need to do.

This year we are heading to the Canadian Maritimes from Florida.

Check Upscaleauto.com. They are on the West Coast and are recommended on Sprinter-Source.com. We hope to get to Alaska next year.

Happy travelling!!!

Barry-Sue

how did you attach the corian extension to the side wall? and is the toilet tissue holder attach to the underside of the extension or is it attach to the side wall? Thanks for more detail discription.
