Title: full bed in a 2552
Post by: jampodd on March 30, 2013, 01:55:09 pm
I added some side supports and cross rails, a piece of plywood and two 13" x 68" mattress pieces to make the twin beds in my 2552 into a full bed. It only takes a short time to set up and tear down so the only time getting to the bathroom is a hassle is at night when set up.

Great job. I am looking for a 2550 anyone know of one for sale? I like the idea of the one bed but the storage where 2nd bed would of been (passenger side). Sure wish they hadn't stopped making this style, think would be perfect for a solo person.

Jan,
If you are looking to purchase a new PC, the factory may be able to accomodate your wishes at cost.

There is a good bit of storage under the one bed (driver's side). And if solo (as I am a great deal of the time) you can also use the bed for storage. The 2552 has quite a bit of storge though, The closet in the bathroom, shirt cabinets over each bed, cabinets over head and also the pull out pantry next to the frig.
