Title: rear access door problem

the strut screws on the rear access door on my 2551 keep pulling out-any suggestions?

There can be a lot of pressure pushing both opening and closing the hatch and thee is not much "meat" there to screw into.  I would try going to and oversized screw to see if that might hold.  Otherwise,  i would glue and perhaps pop rivet a small rectangle of sheet aluminum and screw thru it.  If you are speaking of the screws on the body pulling out I would again go oversized first and then back to the drawing board on what the next step might be.  I am writing my comments from memory and I have no access to my coach to see exactly how the pistons are fastened but I know there is alot of up and down pressure and if you rush opening and closing you will add to the force.  Best of luck

That has happened with all 3 of our PCs. I took out the screws and used 3M 5200 adhesive caulking to fill the screw holes and under the metal plate. I then screwed it back down and let it set up for 24 hours. It worked!

You can get 5200 at most hardware stores. You only need a small tube.
