Didn't know where to post this link so I thought I would do it here. Figured it could be something you can tell your campfire friends.
The link is to a website that allows you to get to most of the 50 states unclaimed property (including money) search.
http://www.missingmoney.com/Main/StateSites.cfm
If you click on any of the states in green it will link you to that particular states website that allows you to search for any money the state may be holding for you because they claim that they do not know where you are. Most of the states offer this service for free from their website and most of the states will then send you your money for free. Every state has different rules. I have found money for quite a few people including ourselves. Barry had an insurance policy and when one company bought out the other company they claimed they could not find him so sent the money to the state. It took about six months to get the check but it was a nice windfall (paid for many, many days of camping). You do not have to login to this site so just click on the state and it should take you to that states particular page that deals with unclaimed property.
If the state is not in green you can just go to the state governments website and look for their search for unclaimed property.
There are companies that will do this for you but then charge you a finders fee. Do it yourself for free. If you moved to different states in your lifetime make sure you search each of those states.
Hope someone finds some cash that belongs to them.

No missing money here, or powerball winnings and what's left - she knows right where it is.

Hey Berry, I guess we will have to keep looking for that missing money and hoping that the next big lotto is ours.

I've lived in several states but there doesn't seem to be any money for me, however, I found some for my sister and sent her the link. So, does that count as her Christmas present or do I still need to go shopping?

My best guess is the best person to answer your question would be your sister! roflol
