Title: Shelf behind/above toilet in 2552
Post by: gl1500 on November 16, 2012, 01:36:04 pm
I can not seem to get a picture to go without my whole picture inventory going with it.  But what I did to make the shelf more functional and usable, I purchased color matched 1x4 wood, cut it to proper length and formed it in the shape of an L.  Used metal colored L brackets to secure the two pieces together and then to the closet and rear wall.  I then added cushioned non-skid material inside the L area.  Now we leave items in there all the time and even when traveling.  Nothing bounces out or slides around.

Bob,

   Nice idea.

We found a lucite orgnazer in a smoked color at bed bath and beyond that is just a little smaller than the shelf.  It has non-skip pads on the bottom.  I leave it there during all of our travels and it stays in place.  Even though that shelf is narrow it really does come in handy.
