Thanks for your thoughts. Being on the end of Cape Cod, we were concerned with the coming storm. We lost power for about 4 hrs in the late afternoon into the evening. We had very high wind gusts. We were very lucky. Heard a report this morning about boats being battered in the Provincetown harbor.
Last week, while driving back from being winterized, a rock kicked up and cracked our windshield on the motorhome. While it was being replaced, the tech hit and broke the side rear light and scratched the side around it a bit. The glass place is paying for the repair. The good part of this is that the motorhome rode out the storm in a dry, clean paint bay avoided any impact from the storm.
Sounds like NYC is not in very good shape this morning. Our thoughts are with those that were not so lucky as we are here.

Seacoast NH came thru the storm A-OK! Alot still with no power and many branches down but could have been alot worse when you see images of NY, NY. PC weathered the storm fine and I now the clean up begins. Thanks to all who were thinking about us.

I am so glad that NE came through OK. It's hard to believe all the devastation in NY, NJ and CT.
A friend sent pictures of Plymouth MA at the Plymouth Rock and Plymouth Beach (our old stomping grounds) and the sea was ferocious. Glad Ptown made it through ok, Roni.

The electricty is back on and all is well again with us. Thank everyone for thinking about us and keep all the other people that have been efficted by this storm in your thoughts. No major damage and only 24 hours with out power and water. Better than last year.
I hope that Jack D. Is all right. He lives down on the bay.

Tom,
Glad to hear you were minimally affected. Let's hope to hear the same from JackD and the others there.

Can't believe we got hit so hard in Ohio.
We live West of Cleveland near Lake Erie, we have not had power since Monday.
Trees are down everywhere from the high winds, rivers are in flood. Roads closed. :'(
Our RV generator and solar system is powering our home refrigerator, sump pump and a TV.
We were planning to leave for our winter trip to Mexico this Sunday. But we can't leave until we get power.
At least today the phone & internet came back on. pyho
We were supposed to stop at the Phoenix factory to get our slide-out seal repaired, we shall see.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
That storm was amazing. When I started this post, I had no idea that so many would be afffected in such a significant way. It seemed that it was going to be an East Coast storm. Yeah, East of Wisconsin!!!!!!!!!
Hope you get back up and running real soon.

We were fortunate in that all we had was extremely high winds (the trees bent so far over they looked like skinny Bananas).
Lost power, phone, heat and water for 5 days but the PC Genny let us keep the Fridge and freezer cold enough to avoid spoilage and give us a few lights. Bathtubs (filled before Sandy hit) and the PC's tank of water helped with the toilet situation.
Hope all's well with everybody.

THANK YOU ALL, for your kind thoughts, and most of all, your prayers. It's nice to have friends who share concerns...
Your prayers worked well with us...lights flickered twice, but the power stayed on ( I had the generator charged and running the day before, and stuff as secured as I could get it). The house is highs so no flooding with the 10.5 inches of rain, and we were very fortunate. However, I really don't particularly want to sit through winds higher than 75 mph!!!
You guys are great!!,
Jack
