Title: Awning on 2350
Post by: Carolp495 on August 21, 2012, 10:37:57 pm
We have the electric awning on the 2350 ..... but once the awning is extended are you suppose to anchor the front down in some way so it is not vunerable to a gust of wind or blowing away ?
It just seems like it is hanging out asking to be ripped off.

We don't always tie it down but when it gets windy, we use the anchors. We bring it in each evening and never leave it out when we are away from the PC. Better to be safe than sorry!

I assume you are twisting the two knobs on each of the slide arms?  They should be tight when the awning is out and that tightens it up some just rembember to loosen them before retracting the awning or you will bend something.  If it is going to be windy it is a good idea to tie them down of better yet retract it.  Thanks
