My wife uses our PC 2551 on a E 350 chassis more than I do and complains about back pains from trying to reach the pedals. She is not the tallest person in the world. Has anyone ever looked into putting pedal extenders on their motorhome? If so, were they easily removeable? Any ideas??

Extended mine for the same reason... used 2x2 blocks to fit the same size as the pedals and painted them black. Gas one I cut groves in it.
Brake I cut a piece of plastic same size as the brake boot cover slips over, so I could place the brake boot cover over the extended pedal. Works great and looks normal. But can be easily reverse engineered.

Do you have the 6-way power driver seat? I ask because we do. My wife is 5'-1" with long torso and short legs. She can adjust the driver seat fine for herself.

Yes, I do have the power seat. I was talking to my wife who is out camping for 10 days with a girlfriend of hers and she was complaining about the pedal reach. I will look it over with her the next time I have a chance and see if she's missing something on the adjustment. I think part of the problem is that she has had a knee replacement done on her left leg and would like to be able to stretch it out while still reaching the pedals with her right foot. If I can put together some easily removeable pedal extenders, that may be the best answer.

Dee, at a strech over 4'11", does fine with the power seat.
Hasn't had the knee done yet-might change things.

I am 5.11 with a 32"inseam size 11 mens shoe
I found the Electric seat in my 2007 2551 Ford 450 very uncomfortable,
At its lowest adjustment its 2 inches higher then my Ford 350 van with a manual cloth seat.
What I did was build a 3" high platform for the floor.
A one inch block on the break
and a 2.5 inch block on the gas
works for me.

Your a pretty tall feller and so am wondering why your built up the floor and pedals. I am only 5'6" and I built mine up so I could have the seat back farther so steering wheel wasn't in my face. Also I don't have power seats and I feel the seat is a bit high. So I built up the floor with a couple of pieces of carpet under the mat. You must have felt the floor was a bit low also to build it up 3"??

3" made the distance from the floor to the top of the seat about the same as my work van.
I do long runs when I use my PC 10-15 hours, so its good to be comfortable!
Measure your other vehicles seat to floor to pedals, and see what ya get? I only did my van, I am gonna check street cars and see what I can learn.

ok gotcha... you raised your 450 seat 3" cuz it was too low for ya to be confortable! I would like to lower mine about that much..... Measuring other vehicles is a good idea...

No No! I have the same problems as others! The seat is too high!,, Some day I will lower the seat ! But until then, It was easier to raise the floor! and modify the pedals....
