Things We Have Added to Our 2350 - Sun Screen
« on: May 07, 2010, 01:01:26 pm »
We have made some additions to our 2008 Phoenix Cruiser 2350 to make travel a little easier and would like to share them with other PC owners.  Need to login to see the attached pictures.

Sun Screen (Images sun-screen-1 & sun-screen-2)

Windshield and side windows of cab covered with Sun Screens made by a local awning company.  This fabric blocks 90% of the incoming sun light and keeps the cab cool plus provides privacy during the day.  The screen obscures the view out the window is a little.

We are Florida bound in about 5 weeks and I definitely want to add the sun screens to our 3100.  We had them on our class A and loved them.  Do you have a contact?  About how much should I expect to pay?  Thanks for your input!

When we went to the Hershey show, Stuart from the factory had some windshield/window shades that let the light in, but people could not see in. You can even get a picture printed on them. Since I already have the kind that is solid with the roll down sections that let the light in, I had to pass on his. You might want to call Stuart about the cost of his shades. You can see mine here http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/product/adco-deluxe-class-c-windshield-covers/8172 .

Dick,

We just called a local awning company in Royal Oak, Michigan.  They had the screen and we gave them a pattern of our windshield and side windows.  They sewed a hem around them and we added suction cups for the side windows and front windows are on with 3M type velcro tape that we bought at target.  It is much stronger than regular velcro and it doesn't attract any dirt or dust.
